Haze felt the icy tone of his voice cut deep into her heart. She physically pulled back slightly. She paused, trying to find her voice, "I...wanted to apologize--for hurting you and...our relationship, no matter how small or large it was too you."

Haze winced at Mareous snarling, but she took it, took it without retaliation, "You're right." She said quietly. "I was horrible but out of shear will I returned--returned to apologize for making you go through so much agony."

Haze lowered her gaze to her paws, her body shaking in self loathing, "So, I guess you wish I hadn't come back, huh?" she said, her voice cracking. In the end, Mareous hated Haze more than ever before. Haze had finally gotten her revenge and in return, she had damaged herself deeply. Revenge hurts everyone.
"I am deeply sorry, I hope that one day--Moro will forgive you and you'll have your power again." She whispered, turning and melting back into the dark shadows.

Haze turned and looked up at the stars, waiting to see if there'd be a sign from the heavens. She was trying to calm herself, the sky was a soothing sight to Haze. The last place in the world that was pure and free from the evil of wars and sin.
