"Haze ... i love you and there is nothing you can do to chance it" I smiled slightly, winking at her.

Haze allowed a few tears to slip down her black cheeks. She closed her eyes and gave Mareous a warm wolf embrace. "You've been warned." She whispered.
Then she saw Venus.

OOC -- Just continue, but pretend Haze was seeing things?
Mareous stood back, staring intently at Haze.
"I love you" I repeated, landing a wet lick on her cheek, then her muzzle.
Then i rolled her over, laughing and squealing, and starting licking her tummy and face, showering her with licks and playful nips.

Haze laughed and pushed Mareous off, jumping into the water. She began to swim, kicking up water and diving. Her fur wet and shinny.

I joined Haze, linking my tail with hers and dragging her under, before windmilling my legs to get us both back up.
"Grr!" I grinned, but then stopped.
On a boulder a few metres away, was a tall white she wolf.
I pulled and pushed Haze out of the water, shoving her behind me, growling protectivly over her.

Haze didn't like to be pushed around, so she snarled. Unaware of the white wolf. Which was strange, few could sneak up on the dark she-wolf. She growled when she saw the white wolf, baring her teeth.

"Keep calm. I'm Mystic" The white wolf said, smiling slightly.
She was around my age, and was kind.
She went down to the river and started lapping the cool waves up, closing her eyes.
I stopped snarling, but kept my ears pinned back.

Haze came up along side of Mareous, "Well. Not trying to be rude but this is my territory. So..." She cleared her throat, standing tall, "I'd like if you asked to pass through next time." She said, her eyes cold but her face slightly warm.

"So sorry, Haze. I didn't exactlty want to disturb you and Mareous" I nodded politly, a warm smile crossing my face.

"How is your mother?" I asked Haze.

"Dead." Haze responded flatly. "So I'm guessing great now that she's in paradise." She said smiling slightly.

"Your mother is ... d-dead?" Mystic asked faintly.
"Why?" I challenged, standing beside Haze.
"She was a great friend of mine ... used to cub-site me" Mystic smiled, her face distant.

Haze felt a twang of sorrow pain inside of her chest. "Yeah, dead. Killed." Haze spoke, her sorrow getting swallowed by hate and hurt. She through a cold glare at Mareous, the pain too much for her to let go of. "....Murdered." She spat, her voiced filled with venom directed towards Mareous.

I bowed my head, guilty as heck.
"Who ... oh" Mystic took one look at my face and shut up, swallowing.
"Well Haze, im very sorry for your loss ... i must be going back to my ... well, back to wandering" Mystic smiled slightly.

Haze remained silent, barely giving Mystic a nod. "You should... tell me about my mother sometime." She said hoarsely, staring hard at her paws.

"Anytime sweetie" Mystic went over to Haze and touched noses before accidently-on-purpose stepping on Mareous's paw.
"Oops" She said bluntly, before giving Haze a wink and trotting off.

Haze smiled and watched her go, still icy cold towards Mareous. "This is why you should leave--because you'll only get hurt." Haze spat bitterly. Trotting down towards the cold river. She glared at her reflection and the scar she had on her side. "I'm just a monster" She growled, shame in her eyes.

Haze wanted to smile, but she couldn't. She nodded. Silent. Suddenly a vision came across her eyes. "Moro wants you to speak to the troops." She said quietly.
