Mars heart felt like it had been shattered. Like the shattered pieces had been shattered.
Over and over again.
Rein -
I stared at my mother, and sent Cray over to explain to Kapu.
"Oh mum ..." I hoped that they were still an item.

Cray explained and Kapu went to comfort his mate. Moro continued to sob.

"Go away" I shrugged off Kapu, snarling slightly.
I fell into my mother's paws.
"Don't worry mum. Dad was just trying to be gentle" I cried.

Moro licked her daughter's head. "Thank you dear but... my trust has been deeply hurt." Kapu nodded, understanding and walked off, taking the cubs with him.

I stood up, frowning.
"Mum, he LOVES you! Cray ... we're going!" I turned and ran from sight.

Cray nodded and licked his mother on the head, a rare sign of affection from him, even to her. He trotted up alongside of Rien, sniffing out his nieces to make sure they were near by.
Kapu wondered over to his mate, licking her underneath the chin as he placed the pups gently down onto the ground, at their mother's feet.
Moro sat back, her tail swishing from side to side slowly, her eyes were glowing red--but closed. She needed to contact Mars, "My dear, why have you left me once again? I knew your intentions were good--come back to me." She thought, her voice was failing her now, her heart still hurt.

Cray looked at his sister, feeling at she was being a bit cold towards her mate. Kapu face obviously showed pain but he nodded, knowing his mate needed space.

Kapu nodded, smiling at her weakly. "It's alright, I just hope I still have favor in your eyes." he growled slowly, nudging the dirt with his paws. He felt as if a wedge had grown between them, ever since that family gathering--Rein had become more and more cold towards him, and not just him--the cubs as well.
Cray saw the worries flash across Kapu's mind. He growled deeply and shook his head, poor boy. He thought, rising and looking towards the woods where the black, silver scared wolf stood. Her blue eyes pierced into Cray's and he sighed.
"Ah, I called Haze here. Thought it was best to have the whole family here with us. She was only called now." Moro said, her voice hoarse from crying and eyes blood shot from tears and meditation.
Haze slowly broke free from the darkness and shadow of the forest, she padded over towards them, Kapu, Cray and Moro gazing at her with transfixed eyes. Was she sedated by Moro's possession? Or under her full free will?

I stood still, staring at the huge white moon.
I was a little bit away from the others, and Hazel and Tulisa were sitting beside me, cleaning themselves.
"Oh god ...." I swallowed and broke off.
Mars -
I stopped crying finally and looked at Venus, who was sleeping beside the throne.
"This is for hurting my daughter and trying to kill my grand-cubs" I snapped, clawing her across the side.
A long gash opened and blood oozed onto the floor.
Venus leaped to her feet and screamed.
"You little ....!" She trailed off, gulping.
Venus --
I ran out of the castle and to Moro and the others.
Staying in the shadows, i made sure Moro knew i was here.
Don't do anything stupid, sis. Come here

Moro snarled, at the sight of her sister, "Why should I?" she challenged, Cray and Haze feeling the ripple of disturbance in their connection to her.
They growled, their fur bristling as they slowly crept forward, jaws spreading and gaping into a threatening snarl.
Cray walked up along side of his mother and snarled at Venus, "What makes you think we'd trust you?" He asked, his mother also snarling the same exact words. Haze joined them, her eyes glowing red as she too, spoke with them in unison.
Moro looked over at Rien and her grand-cubs, no way was she going let her came near her family again.

I walked calmly over to my family who were snarling in a line.
"Cray" I said calmly, walking between my mother and brother.
I walked up to Venus, calm on the outside, raging and boiling in the inside.
"Kapu, take them to Mars and stay with them. You'll be safe there" I called over my shoulder, just a metre or 2 away from Venus.
I walked closer still and stopped.
Turning around, i shook my head at Cray, telling him not to venture further.
Suddenly, i spun round and leaped onto Venus, and with a quick bite, decapitated her head from her body.

Kapu snarled and picked up the cubs, walking deep into the forest, his thoughts and heart hurt. He was hurt that Rien didn't think he could fight against them. He looked down at the cubs who both blinked up at him. He licked them both and then brought them deeper into the forest.
Cray made a mock charge towards Venus, but did not attack. He snarled, and Haze too, snapped low to the ground, ready to fight. Moro glared at Venus and snapped, "Stay away from my daughter!" Moro leaped forward but her daughter beat her to it. She gasped at the sight of her daughter biting into her sister's flesh. Her body crawled at the sight of her sister's head severed from her shoulders.

I stood back, panting slightly, eyes wide.
I looked at Cray and Haze, both still snarling at Venus's dead body.
"Mother ..." I trailed off and stared after Kapu.
"What have i done?" I whispered.
I looked at Venus's head, resting on a pile of leaves.
Empty sockets closed, mouth lolling open, blood still oozing from the wound in her neck.
The headless body was still standing, blood and veins spurting forth.

Moro let out a horrified scream, running towards her sister's side, looking at her head that now lay severed from her shoulders. She looked over at her daughter, her fur bristling. Then she swallowed her anger and walked over towards her daughter, giving her a wolf hug. "Shhh. Shhh. It's okay. Breathe, just breathe." She growled, tears brimming on her eyes.
Cray walked over towards his sister and wrapped his tail around her side as he sat there with her. He growled comfortably into her ear, trying to calm her frightened nerves.
