Moro's strong sense of smell and clear eye sight quickly sought out Venus's shaking, crumpled form. She walked slowly up toward her sister, her eyes moist with tears. "Venus, let me help you. I can't see you in anymore pain. I've caused you too much already." She begged,walking towards her ex-sister, her belly scraping across the ground.

I looked tearfully at my sister, as she came closer.
"Don't" I winced, as her nose brushed mine.
I tried to stand, but fell over, the breath knocking out of me.

Moro snarled and bit into her sister's paw, licking away the blood. By doing this--she could bring some relief to the pain. She preformed from dark magic on her, trying to help her pained sister.

I stood up, paw favoured, curled under my body.
It was getting dark, where would i sleep tonight?
I lowered my eyes, slowly raising them to Moro's.
"Moro ... i-i" I gulped, biting my lip.

Moro helped her sister rise, "You are my kin, speak what is on your mind. You have seen the worst of me and I...have seen the worst of you. There be no need for shame or fear. Tell me what you want." She looked into her sister's eyes, pleading.

Gasping in pain, i fell to the ground, coughing and spluttering.
"Make it stop, make it stop!" I screamed in agony and fear.
Rein came galloping down the stairs, shortly followed by Mars, who was frowning.
"Aunt Venus, it's okay, it's okay" Rein cooed, taking me by the head and licking my forehead.
"Stay strong, Vee" Mars whispered.
"STAY STRONG?! You have NO RIGHT to tell ME to STAY STRONG! And DON'T call me Vee!" I stood up shakily, angrily eyeing Mars, bringing myself up to my full high and coming over to stand above him.
"Never EVER call me Vee again" I whispered, lowering my gaze to his.
"You lost the right to call me that when you left me, broken and bruised on Wolf Wedge. Bet you didn't know that" I turned to Moro, disgusted looking.

Moro shot both Mars and Rein a look, letting them know she wanted to be alone with her sister. "Come." She said calmly, leading Venus down a long, dark hallway.

Venus narrowed her eyes, but followed her sister.
"This better not be a trick ..." Venus snarled, keeping an eye on her sister's moving shoulders.
I thought of the White Bloods, how they had been in hiding when Mars had joined Moro and they had produced heirs ... wait!
"Latifah!" I stopped dead, eyes wide.
I turned tail and ran straight back the way i had came, Latifah's eyes in my head.

Moro turned around suddenly, confused and a bit worried. "What do you want with me lead warrioress?" She growled, chasing after her sister.

"Moro!" I spun around, shaking with the excertion of running in pain.
"Leave. Me. Alone. If i need you, i'll call" I said slowly, turning to run off again, wincing through my pain.
I hope she listened.

I ran into Latifah.
"You! Where's Haze ... NOW!" I yelled as the pretty wolf faltered and hesitated.
"I don't have to answer to you" She frowned, cowering.
"No ... but you'd better, just to insure you keep that pretty little head on your shoulders!" I snapped, showing my teeth.
"I don't know! I don't exactly keep tabs on wolves like her" Latifah bowed her head.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" I hissed.
"Nothing" Latifah gulped.
"Hmm ... get out of my sight" Latifah stayed put when i said this.
"NOW!" I screamed and she ran off.

Moro heard yelling from her top female guard and her sister. They were looking for Haze. She wondered why. Little did she know that Haze resting in her special place. Sitting on the rocky mound in the middle of a slow flowing river.

I ran, sprinting down the forest.
Finally, i came across the dark wolf sitting talking lowly with Mareous.
I knew about them and was happy for them.
"H-Haze" I was choked up.
I hadn't seen her for years.

Haze looked up, past Mareous and her eyes widened. "Venus!" She cried running towards her aunt, laughing and bowing before her.

"Oh get up, child! Oh Haze, i'm soo happy to see you!" I laughed through my happy tears, hugging her close.
I looked at Mareous, giving him a knowing nod of the head.
I went over and blessed him, right before Haze.
Mareous let a blush come to his white cheeks before bowing low before me.

Haze hugged her aunt tightly, then watched her bless Mareous. She felt guilt still rise up in her chest. She couldn't believe she was letting Mareous do this.

"Dear Mareous, don't bow beaneath me. You are not quite one of us yet..." I told him.
"I'm not turning White Blood, Venus. I'm staying black ... but i still lurve Haze" I affirmed, stretching up.

Haze felt another twang of guilt but smiled. "And I am still Mars' warrior. I will fight for him until it is the end of me."

"That is ... if Mars even lets you kill his Queen" I said sternly, looking at both Haze and Mareous.
I sighed and sat down, curling my newly black tail around my shivering paws.
"Which he won't, will he?" Mareous asked.
"Nope, not a chance. And Mareous ... you couldn't. You've served with her too long. And i wouldn't let you ... she's my sister" I said.
